I am not going to talk about my life in camp
it's mundane as i am really doing nothing now
waiting for things to happen! hahaha

1. Indulge too much in online shopping
I have been spending alot of time
enjoying my book out time at home
at the same time, i wanted to get new clothes
so shopping online is my best choice
and without knowing my limits,
i have been using my debit card and ibanking
spending alot on clothes shoes and stuffs
GRRRRR
gotta stop already

2. FOOD!
THATS MY FAVORITE!
Everyone is saying i am too picky about food
quite true in camp
hahahahaha
i am always choosy on the food i ate in camp
and i can grumble for every meal
so i would ensure every book out
is a treasured time to enjoy good food.
good food = happy man!
hahahahahaha
I spent alot on food really.
And not to mention, i had buffet yesterday
and i ate alot of sashimi!
DROOLS RIGHT!
hahahahaha.
and i am still looking forward to eat alot more stuffs
and they are being bookmarked in my phone
waiting for me to have the time and company
to enjoy and indulge in those food!

heh it's REAAAALLLY LONG
after my BMT and my short holiday trip with family
i was posted to air force as a post of a man.
so fail ippt = no command school
lessons learnt!
hahahaha

life goes on but i am still generally happy with it
no complains about myself (maybe just allowance)

having done with my 3 months of training in air force
and having successfully completed my course

it's really a sense of satisfaction during the 3 months
firstly, in terms of physical, i am better now despite the fact
i still fail ippt due to my sbj
training on it now!
and the 3 months came to be the more stressful period in NS so far
i had to study so much just to pass a test with 70 marks!
although it's a discounted pass, but the fact is
i hate memorizing!
okay i am not complaining!

next, after going to different paths in ns
friends meet up more often!
maybe after going to differing paths and tied down schedules
we feel that time with friends are important!
really enjoy every meet up with friends.

next, i dont' complain anymore about my bunkmates
generally, we just make fun of each other
in a joking manner.
calling each other wayang and stuffs in a joking manner
perhaps we have already known our fate
so why struggle so hard to outshine?

my sis got married! she's Mrs Tan now!

and the ceremony was a little funny
where my mum kept asking me to prepare tissue for my dad
the funny duo
so that explains why i got such a
"funny" genes

i admitted i drank quite abit recently!

and was so high at orchard
when it's close to 12!

also, we celebrated nazri's birthday in end march
was a belated celebration but it's a proper celebration at least

whereas mg's one was very impromptu

recently, i had my birthday.
it's a less anticipated birthday as i start to feel old!

I had a good early celebration with my BD group
despite the fact sheuereen is away in Auzzie land
She called me on my birthday and wishing me all the best
so thoughtful of her!

next, i thought having birthday in camp would be bad
but my bunkmates, the 7 of them,
actually celebrated my birthday in camp
nights out dinner and surprise!
so not too bad birthday afterall.
i appreciate their thoughts.

and i am going to meet my long time friend
my secondary school friends for my belated celebration
its harder to accommodate meeting time
so every meet up would be more treasured!

IVE FINALLY COMPLETED MY BMT!

just updates about my life!
2010 had came to an complete
with the last month of 2010 a little more exciting!

Had a surprise from SHEUEREEN ar
she came back and everyone hid it to me
and she came back before when she supposed to came back
and idky either.
it's a good catch up with the nonsensical BD group back then
over a saturday night
all nonsense still prevails within the group
thou i tone down abit on my behaviour.
hahahahahahhaa

and next was Christmas and new year celebrations
i spent both festival with the usual ones
my secondary classmates and this year
was a normal celebration
drunkard on xmas eve
and drank again on new year eve with control of intake
hahahahahhahaa

and spppppppeeeeddd up the timeline (partially i am a little lazy to update)
i POP on 8 Jan 2010.
I must say the last week of BMT was toughest period for me
it's rehearsal and rehearsal for the parade.
i was on the verge of falling sick before i book in for the last week
AND no surprise, i really fell sick.
and i am proud of myself, i did complete the march without falling out!
heh.
thats something proud at least i could do
and not disappoint my parents with them
actively looking forward for my POP

It've been some time since i last blogged!
Been though two and a half month of my NS life
and had my outfield like 6 days ago
i must say my outfield is one of the memorable one

Agony and pain is one of the thing
we would think when we go outfield!

My outfield was quite demoralising
it's raining practically everyday
first field day was just wet barsha tent that i have to sleep in
and it only dampen the mood

Nevertheless, we do have fun inbetween.
Despite the constant rain at night
on the third day, we laid our ground sheet out
and we were sleeping in prone-ing position.
It's was really cold that i went shivering

and guess what, we woke up at night,
or practically everyone woke up
and set up our fire with the fossil fuel
and cooked maggie mee
and also picked some twigs from tree
and set up fire to keep ourselves warm

despite of how tired it is,
that night was a fun one.
we took out our soaked feets from our boots
and trying to dry our feets in front of fire
and drying our socks and insoles in the fire
and some of us ended up with insoles and socks got burnt
it's quite funny.

worst period of BMT is close to over!
says Y-A-Y cause we are closer to POP LO!

Okay, i havent blog for quite some time.
it's a month after i enlist. and i did enjoy every book out
things change in the army and i do not wish to talk about it
you will realise people true nature as time goes by
so i shall blog about some happy moments!

okay, my first book out, i went to eat Nobel House buffet
was quite a not bad buffet
but i can't really taste the food as i was sick

and last week was a saturday bookout!
so we went to sunset way to eat!
went to rocky's pizza and eat
and it's like as usual all the crappy talk.
LOL.

This week, i went to met my BD GL Group on saturday!
Book out on friday night and had supper
with the usual secondary school friends
so were talking about what is happning
and all interesting things happening in NS.
hahahahah so when you are in NS
you tend to share whats happening and stuffs
so had mac as supper at Yew Tee
and also took pictures la.
hahahahahaha.

okay i am finally back from NS
enlisted on 14 september,

the day i lost most of the comfort i am enjoying

to be honest, one day before i went for ns

i actually met up with the usual friday gang

out at choa chu kang for dinner

and i am still feeling alright,

like tomorrow enlistment lor,

okay lor my mind is tuned to it.

i still wore a GL tee to go out

I STILL STAY AT HOME

hahahahahaha

but when the actual day comes,

the morning i woke up,

i felt so moody. partially i didn't had enough sleep

hahahahahahha.

i was moody with during breakfast

on the way still feeling moody

but i knew i had to tune to it

2 years, it's just the start.

but it's really a little chalet in the bunk

while i am having some solemn time,

my dad, mum, sis and her bf was touring the bunk

over the lunch, we had a little commotion over blood type

i always thought i am O+

but ended up when i got my 11B (my army ic)

i then know it's B+, not O+

and my dad go and scare me

told me he A+

he really blur, told me he's A+

and everyone asked me to tell my sergeant

and rebloodtest again

and i asked my dad for his IC

and i saw B PLUS. NB

he blur till like that.

hahahahaha. after all the commotion

i was shocked, cause i am not used to 20 mins break

i literally kanchiong

and went to fall in.

usually i take my own sweet time one what, u all know one la.

later on that day, i realised, i am in the same company as hoikan.

and my bunk mate is actually my secondary school friend

my 3 years of classmates which i barely talk to him

during my secondary life.

next i will talk about how i had my 17 days of NS

i really had a hard time the first few days

i had to carry so many big and heavy bags up

from level 1 to level 4

and i had to check everything is there and in order

not much knowledge of the army stuffs

really is a bad thing.

you will only go huh and sergeant will look at you with a look

huh, you think you at home is it?

hahahahahhaha

literally culture shock for the frist few days.

i had a hard time sleeping for my first few nights

and i tell you

bed is really quite dirty.

some bed are yellow while some are black.

ewwwww right,

i am logistically prepared thou

i bought fbreeze for spray my bed

but you know what

that following day when i woke up,

i can smell a weird smell on my skin

so i never fail to bath every morning since then.

training for first few days are tough for me

we had to endure

but slowly, you can feel youi are improving

i did feel. i can feel i can do crunches better.

though i had improvement, i still never pass my ippt la

hahahaha i never pass before. so hhahahahhahaa.

at the end of the 17 days of confinement,

i actually lost 2kg to 48kg now

and i lost one inch around my waist

hahahahahhaa

good thing i lost weight but

bad thing for route march in future.

Here's how i spent my long weekends
before enlistment

having sick since monday
is a terrible thing.
it's not fever
but having a bad flu
that makes you drowsy

met Tracie and Melissa for a simple lunch
on wednesday! hahahahaha.
it's also cause of my enlistment.
sigh! hahahahaha.
was still sick thou

when i got recovered
i realised, it's thursday!
LESS THAN A WEEK LEFT FOR NS!

hahahaha nevertheless, enjoyment is still essential.
Went over to steffi's chalet
and we celebrated her birthday in a simple manner
since she's having a grand one next day

we had steamboat dinner at the chalet
and after was a group of so called gamblers
playing mahjong. LOL.

she knew it when someone is missing and
i am standby waiting for phone call.
LOL.

Other than steffi's birthday celebration cum chalet,
i had dinner with family!

OMG RIGHT?
we only drank one bottle.
leaving the 1.5liters one aside.

was quite tired towards the end of K session
due to the energy drained off during the K session

As usual with friday meeting
and we went to Bugis this week
i tried 15 Minutes Cafe

and i must say it's really a place worth to venture
and the duck pizza was one of the recommended one
over at hungrygowhere
i tried and it's nice.

after dinner it's literally hang around
aimlessly. We wanted to go to Ji De Chi for desserts
and ended up, we went to cold storage
hahahahaha

must be thinking, 4 guys out there,
why shop at cold storage?
hahahahhaa we went to look at the wine section
and they wanted to drink at steffi's chalet.
LOL.
and as usual, we head over to cck to just loiter

Other than friday gathering
i am just idling and lazing at home every day?
not really.
I went to get prepared for my NS
it's not physically nor mentally
but it's logistically. LOL
almost finishing with the list of things to buy
and it already cost a bomb to me

all thanks to me having no pay
and idle at home.
now stuffs bought would really drain my bank account

and my lazy weekend is just few minutes to end

okay i do a quick update about my last week
it's really a better one
and i finally got out of my home
and met mel for gym.
must be thinking ZG GYM LEI!!

NS in 2weeks time
and need to get muscle stretched.

other that gymming,
i did also watched movie with junhao and mel
we watched grown ups

the show is indeed funny
i literally laughed from the start
to the end of show.
thou there's not much of storyline
but it's definitely a must watch show

other than that, i also met up with the usuals
for friday night out.
we ate buffet on friday

we had buffet at Fortune Cuisine

that was my second time trying out at this restaurant.
hmmm i wasn't very in mood for buffet
but i ate a little bit only
bill only choke up to 28 per person on friday night
and it's 28 only, so still not bad.

i must say the food variety is a little limited
but it's the company thats fun

and the best part is, we eyed on salmon everytime
whenever the chef is topping up the raw salmon,
we would be stand by-ing to take all the salmon
hahahahahahha
steffi literally just use the tongs
and grabbed the whole row of salmon at one go
damn hilarious

they also had grilled food, which either that they grill for us
or we grill ourself.
we chose to let them grill the food
cause if we grill the food ourselves, we'll be sitting outside the restaurant
without air con, we'll die cause we'll be having steamboat at the same time

yuan yang hotpot.

dinner is filled with nonsense topic
and all the laughter that arises from mocking
hahahahahaha

after dinner, yenle drove us around to collect alcohol
from our respective house.
hahahahah
i went home and took the bottle of wine
and we went to hoi kan's house and play
and drank one bottle of wine
and i literally went high
hahahahahaha

i must say the wine i had on friday
is still okay only. the one i had at pan pacific was definitely better.
hahahahaha
after all the high dosage of toxic we consumed
we still planned for cycling the next day

and we did materialize the plan
hahahahaha
we were talking how zai we were to drink so much the day before
and wake up the next day for cycling
hahahahhaa

we went to east coast park to cycle
and we cycled for 2 hours!
hahahahahah
everyone is complaining about butt pain
hahahahah
but it's a fruitful exercise!
hahahah we almost made it to changi beach park
but due to time constant,
we cycled halfway of the changi airport runway
which leaves us around 6km to the beach,
so we cycled back.

the week had been good
and leaving sunday for me to rest at home
and nua, not exercising. hahahaha

and i am literally left with half a month inclusive of today
hahahahaha.

Okay finally i am updating

it's really damn long ago since mel's birthday
hahahahaha.

we had many plans and plans that constantly change
and last minute shopping and stuffs.

we had a surprise for her at 12am
at her house.
of course, we need collaboration with mel's mum

bought her a cake for her birthday
as a surprise

and shortly after the candle blowing and wishing
sheuereen called from Melbourne.

and i forgot this point, luckily, mel is not in her usual SP Tee
her SP Tee is everything man.
she wears it to everywhere!

and phone bills are hefty
and people like us would chat non stop

so we proceed to a cheaper means (GRINS)

after that, zx sent fel home and we went back to mel house
and we bought supper from mac drive thru
and sat by the swimming pool
talking and we were quite into the topic
(actually there's no topic but it's into nonsense)
and we tried very hard to supress our noise level.
hahahahaha.
left her house at around 4am

we met up for cycling the next day
and it's just 2 hours and we felt
our butt is really pain
the seat is damn uncomfortable

so we cycle halfway and we snack!
hahahahah

snacking takes up majority of the time
and we also include our favorite activity

not really into the mood of cycling so we returned our bike slightly earlier
and we returned our bike
and find our way back
we gotta go to City Hall area.

so we can expect fireworks when we were up there.

Okay finally ive visited Hong Kong!

Alright, i shall talk about my trip.

30 June 2010, Wednesday
My flight was in the morning
6.50am. So imagine i gotta check in at 4.50am
and i have to wake up at 3+ and leave home at 4
i am damn sleepy la. hahaha

thou eveleen was very irritated by me
hahahahahahaa
but i slept later throughout the journey

so after arriving, we checked into hotel
and first thing,
go and eat desserts!

our hotel is at Causeway Bay's - Tin Hau
so nearby there's 2 dessert store
one is ching ching desserts and the other was Tin hau Dessert.

we tried the Ching Ching Deserts first.
wasn't that bad.

mango sago with starfruit.

after desserts, we went to central for food!

went to a chinese restaurant, pretty similiar to like out crystal jade
and ate roasted pegion and roasted goose.

the runny egg tarts that we ate!
this is nice and not too sweet. and it's runny while crust
is crispy. Nice!

everything in canto.

went back to tien hau (Tian Hou)
where we stayed. We went searching for desserts again
and we found this Tien Hau Dessert
and we felt it's nice.

after deserts, we went racky in the area
and found a tim sum shop
24 hours, and they sold custard bun.

1 July 2010, Thursday
Second day morning,
we bypass the roasted duck and chicken shop
and we saw really damn big sotong hanging
we were really amused.
cause we nv see such big sotong before.
LOL

okay, our camera went misty
cause we set our air con 10degrees only.

after breakfast, i went to one end of the hk
to look for my uncle.
we went to tung chung, which is near the cable car station

hahahaha saw this vending machine at tung chung station
which sells iphone covers
earpiece and all those funny funny stuffs.
and the really commercialise
everything use Octopus Card.

and I had lunch with eveleen and my uncle
and damn full. Dim Sum and some noodles for lunch
and we went walking around at the factory outlet.

and i shopped alot okay.
LOL. before dinner, we shopped at
Mannings (their Guardian pharmacy store)
and seven eleven.
and saw some interesting stuffs.

and coming to an end, before we went back to hotel
we ate again.

Dim Sum for breakfast!

After breakfast, we went to do shopping at shopping malls.

and i swipped my Visa card.

Travelling to APM Mall and we saw Chen Hao again!

it taste good but then again
it's oily.

after breakfast, shopping at H&M again
and we went off to Noah's Ark

took a ferry there.

Last day of traveling and time to leave Hk for Macau.
and i really miss HK cause Macau is like crap.

last day, met up with my uncle for breakfast
and we had dim sum again
seriously i am sick of dim sum already
LOL.
i forced to eat dim sum. LOL

after that, my uncle send us off to the ferry terminal
and off we go to macau.

reached macau and it's damn hot
i think macau got not enough plantations of trees
and makes it extremely hot.

went over to venetian

and okay lor not bad lor.
but i felt it's quite nothing
and i hate venetian cause everyone is smoking everywhere!

after that we went over to MGM
and bypass some interesting building and structure

went over to MGM and the exterior looks like

and seriously i prefer this over venetian.

after abit of walking around,
we were attracted by their patisserie shop
not bad. their cakes looks very appealing to me

and macau is really boring
casino is their hit
and i go to casino and
i got to show them my passport everytime.

we decided to go to the airport early
and ended up it's a bad decision
we realised there's nothing to do at macau airport.
all shops are closed.

so sat down for hours doing nothing
i literally stare and waste my time from 11+ until 2

and finally flying off macau at around 2.35am

celebrated my 21st birthday
hahahaha and held a belated celebration too.

my secondary school classmates
came CRASHING into my house
at 12 midnight.
celebrated my birthday and i am lazy to post pictures.

cause there are too many individuals
and no group ones.

then went out with them that evening
for dinner and also fool around in town.

as usual la, we never fail to entertain ourselves

okay i am on time for this trip
in updating and posting. HAHAHAHA
went to Phuket on Tuesday and i would say
i like it.

Day 1 - 20 April 2010

we reach the airport at 6am.
i stayed over mel house with sheuereen
the night before and mel's dad is kind
to send us to airport.
so we reached the budget terminal and
we started to complain and complain.
the exterior looks like some
supermarket along highway in malaysia.

getting our boarding pass already we also complain
cause the boarding pass is like supermarket receipt.
i think budget terminal is "supermarket" themed. LOL

we went thru the immigration side
and i bought 3.7kg in.

so we delayed ourselves
until they were doing final calls
then we went to departure hall
and the departure hall looks like

morning plane is different.
we can see how beautiful the skies is in the morning
and the clouds. hahahahaha

reaching phuket airport at around 8.30am local time.
and we had our land transfer to our hotel

we were greeted in a friendly manner
and i must say, they are really kind enough
to let us check in early for free.

it's 3 star and i like the service.

we checked into our rooms
and mine was a superior room
and they upgraded mel and sheuereen's room
to deleuxe room for free.

after checking out our room
we went to the girl's room
ultimately it's bigger. LOL

after that we went to roam the streets...

we can say even thou we stayed on the patong beach
we nv go to the beach much. LOL

after that we decided to go and dip into the pool
with us fully clothed.
LOL. the hotel staff were friendly
and good enough to allow us to dip in.

hungry... so ordered pizza for snacks

after swimming, went to roam the streets again
and look for food!

holiday inn and hard rock cafe is here.

so settled in this eating place.

DAY 2 - 21 April 2010

woke up at 6.20am that day
and sun had already risen. HAHAHAHAHA.
we prepared to go phi phi island
and thats one departure photo at the jetty.

we decided to stay at the upper deck
and rest and laze w the sun.

so it became natural for us to spam photos w camera.

trying hard to imitate fel. HAHAHAHAHA.

when we were in plane
we flew past and i told mel
looks like a lump of shit from the sky.
LOL

they went snorkeling
poor me who doesn't know how to swim
got to snorkel beside the boat
the reefs are nice.
and water is clear

after snorkel and lunch, we went to another island
just to walk around.

and u can feel the burn on the skin.

after reaching our hotel,
our plans is to dip into the pool again

went for dinner at around 7+

and second time, the bill came in this price.
so we decided to buy 4D on this number
LOL.

wanted to look for massage
but it was a fail thing
cause hard to find the recommended one.
so we bypass this ice cream parlor
and we ate there.

hahahahah and the taste damn sweet.
we ended up playing w number guessing game
and loser got to eat the ice cream. LOL

and back to hotel after that...

and hard to buy presents so we decided to
buy the souvenirs of our photos
for fel LOL.

Day 3 - 22 April 2010

breakfast at hotel + surprise.
hahahahaa

after breakfast, we went to the factory outlet there for shopping
and i saw nothing for me. LOL

after shopping, we went to foot and body message
and as usual, i did the foot massage.
i scared when i do body massage,
i will fart when they rub my tummy. LOL

she says she looks auntie. LOL.

after massage, we went for seafood.
went to the recomended one.
and i think not bad.

got the luxury feel. LOL
cause the restaurant is seaside facing.
if we were do dine during sunset, it'll be more beautiful.
hahahahaha.
too bad, time is luxury.
LOL. gotta rush back and go back singapore.

and we saw people doing parachute
and o saw the prices on first day
around 70+ sing if i am not wrong.

we actually check out at 5pm instead of the norm 12pm.

and the kind shop attendant is waiting for me to go back and collect
thank god, its found.

so in the plane, 1 and a half hour flight, we played w cards.
hahahahahaha.

if i were to be back, i would definitely visit the beaches again.

it's quite long since i updated on my status
other than the BKK trip.
HAHAHAHAHHA.

since end of exams
i slacked for i think a month
and i felt the lifestyle is really bad
and when i found a job i was like
hahahahaha at least normal life is back

BUT the job is beyond imagination
hahahahaha there's quotas
and stuffs and i am tricked into it.
oh well, i accepted it cause
they are willing to let me off in apr for phuket
which is like next tuesday!
HAHAHAHA
and they are willing to employ me till end of may
HAHAHAHAHA SHORT TERM

and after a week long of mentally surviving
i survived again the second week.
hahahahaha.

there are really some jokes when i make calls
and of which is one of the auntie i called
working in ____ company located in tuas.
DAMN FUNNY. I ROLLED MY EYES.

Me: Is there a purchaser in your company?
Malaysian Auntie: Yes, Mei Li (In fact it's mary).
Me: How do you spell it?
Malaysian Auntie: M-A-R-Y, MARY. Mei Li(Mary) also dunno how to spell.

irritated by this lady. But thinking back
she is really funny, not realizing she is a joke to me.
